TripWink lookups

This service provides optional vehicle and driving-route estimates for TripWink.

Lookup privacy

When you request a lookup, your vehicle selection is sent to FuelEconomy.gov. Location searches and selected route endpoints are sent to openrouteservice through TripWink's service hosted by Vercel. Service providers process these requests under their own privacy policies. TripWink does not save your itinerary, traveler details or lookup results on this service. Hosting and routing providers may retain request metadata, such as IP addresses, for operation and security.

Optional device location is requested only when you tap Use my location. The app shows the reported accuracy and lets you adjust and confirm a map pin. Selected coordinates are sent to the routing service when you calculate a route. No background location tracking is used. Opening the map loads visible map tiles from OpenStreetMap, which receives network metadata and the viewed map area under its privacy policy.

Trip plans remain on your device. Manual mileage and fuel entries work without lookups. Routing is a standard car estimate, not RV or towing clearance guidance.
